David Harkness, P.E., is the founder of Home Analytical & Engineering, LLC.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.  He has lived and worked in the North Texas area for more than twenty years.  David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Between high school and college, David served a three-year enlistment in the US Army.

All of David’s twenty-plus years professional experience as a facilities engineer has been focused on evaluation, design, construction, maintenance and management of structures, buildings and building systems.  

David is a long-time resident of Tom Bean, Texas, where he is active in a variety of community activities.  He is also a member of the City of Tom Bean Planning and Zoning Board, currently serving as Chairman.
